Winning Posters Do Motivate Employees

With the emergence of the corporate culture in the worldwide spectrum, more and more studies are being conducted on the need of motivating the employees. Why? Gone are the days when people used to be content with the governmental employments and with their meager incomes. In this day and age, with the excessive outgrowth of the mercantile capitalism, following the disintegration of the erstwhile Soviet Union and the practiced socialism, the general mindset has completely changed. The situation is grimmer in the case of the part time employees. It is true, that in most cases, the part-time employees do present a special challenge when it comes to the saga of motivation.

They are found to do the"grunt" work, along with petite career choices and are found over and over again to focus other goals outside of their orgnization. But they are treated by the outsiders as nothing but full-time employees. In this respect, if the responsibility of motivating these persons falls on the manager of the organization, what can he do? Should he begin his work by taking the help of some sort of winning posters? Would a winning poster or winning print be able to convert the part-time employees into outstanding employees? But before that can the winning prints be able to do the needful!

We shall have to rememember that in World War II, the Alied Force, in the fear of General Rammel of Germany, used to apply attractive poster to break the terror of the scourge, and to ceratin extent the experiment was quite successful! Now this PR trick can be applied by the modern day corporate managers for motivating, but the way of applying the attractive print entirely depends upon the very individual.

This can be done by the process of proper orientation. He should take appropriate time to describe the job duties and go over what is allowed and not allowed, e.g., personal telephone calls, use of organization property, etc. Any type of confusion should be avoided by designating an individual or a single person for the sake of orienting and also rendering assignments to the part timers. Even in the meetings with the part-time employees attractive prints, and even alluring posters can be used for announcing incentives for better works, and promotions in the future! This will surely put an end to the emerging confusions and also "well he told me one thing and she said something else" situation that can lead to a demoralized part-time employee.

Often it is found that in spite of the fresh announcements of incentives, the corporate managers somehow do fail to motivate them in the proper manner, and the production slackens. Even the application of alluring prints in these contexts does fail to provide the desired result! So what to do? The best option is to ask the part-timers questions so that it can be found how to motivate them. The problems are that they are facing and their own suggestions to get rid of them. If you happen to be the manager, listen, acknowledge, and embrace the answer and realize that you can possibly apply their skills beside the attractive print, that has already been provided by the company.

If you don't ask, you won't know what the hidden talents of these part-timers are. But if you, you will get better motivated, productive part-time employees with less need of retraining. Most importantly, you will accomplish far more in less time and without the stress!
